Our adventurers have survived a troll attack and brought back some equipment to their makeshift camp. A bit of a kerfuffle happens in the night, and a gigantic spider steals one of the civilians.

Our adventurers find themselves in a brand new world after crash-landing through a portal. It's surrounded by dense forests, scaly red birds, and weird humanoid creatures with long green fingers. What could possibly go wrong!?

Episode 1: Welcome to Baraguo

Welcome to episode one of The Crowded Tavern! In this episode, you're introduced to the characters, learn about the city of magic and technology they live in, and join them as they prepare to go on an expedition to a brand-new world.

Aedamori (he/him)

Player

Dicemaker, nerd, game designer, and former theatre kid, Aedamori is a jack of all trades whose love of TTRPGs goes back over 5 years. The poor soul started back in 2017 on a Solar Exalted campaign that’s still going to this day. His love isn’t just for D&D; he also plays in Vampire the Masquerade and Dragonblooded campaigns. Aedamori also runs a small dice business!

Amanda Sloan (she/her)

Player

Amanda is the coolest, most awesome, and best person ever. She absolutely loves Dungeons and Dragons, getting lost in lore, and delving deep into her character’s backstory. She has a penchant for playing bards and rogues, trusts the dice implicitly, and is rarely above using kissing to get her way.

Cheesygidds (he/him)

Player

Cheesygidds is the King of Cheese and maestro of coffee. As a Human, he enjoys cooking, gaming, music, film, and planning complicated simulations just to blow them all up. He’s been finding joy in Dungeons and Dragons for 6 years and loves to get into [REDACTED]. You can always find him streaming builder and simulation games on Twitch.

Danny Davidsen (he/him)

Player

Danny is a career ‘Forever DM’ who’s been playing Dungeons and Dragons for 8 years. He collects 5e miniatures and has an epic obsession with Eberron. He’s a career storyteller and lover of all movies, plus he’s an author! You can start reading his epic six-part sci-fi adventure now… but only if you read Danish.

Player

Rik is a force of nature. They’re an LGBTQIA+ inclusive Twitch streamer who is agender, aromantic, and gay. In their 5 years playing Dungeons and Dragons and other TTRPGs, they have a penchant for playing cosy, chaotic characters who steal your heart. Rik loves to play support and glass cannon focus characters.

Martin Hoffmann Larsen (he/him)

Dungeon Master

Martin is not as cool as Amanda, but he is as awesome! He found his love for D&D through another TTRPG called Werewolf: The Apocalypse where he was a techy werewolf who preferred guns over claws. In D&D, he prefers the odd characters who tend to avoid combat where possible.
